This is an absolutely excellent opportunity for a commercially driven, enthusiastic and energetic sales professional with a true passion & excellent track record in New Business Development.
Our client is a market leading, growing, forward thinking business that provides all encompassing Customer Communication Management services and they are looking for an ambitious sales professional to join their dynamic organisation at an exciting stage of its journey. This is an opportunity to play a key role in expanding our customer base, developing strategic partnerships, and helping organisations transform the way they communicate with their customers.
Working closely with senior stakeholders, you'll identify new opportunities, build meaningful relationships, and position innovative communication solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes.
The Role
As New Business Development Manager, you'll be responsible for generating and converting new business opportunities selling our clients world class Customer Communication Management services which include sending outsourced Emails, SMS & RCS Messaging & Hard Copy documents. Due to the nature of what our client does the target clients will be hugely varied, making every day different and exciting.
You'll develop a strong understanding of client challenges, identify opportunities where their solutions can add value, and manage the sales process from initial engagement through to contract award.
Key responsibilities include:
* Identifying and securing new business opportunities through proactive prospecting and networking activities.
* Building and managing a pipeline of qualified opportunities.
* Developing relationships with key decision-makers and senior stakeholders.
* Conducting discovery meetings to understand customer requirements and strategic objectives.
* Delivering compelling presentations, proposals and commercial solutions.
* Managing complex sales cycles and contract negotiations.
* Collaborating with internal teams to ensure successful customer onboarding and long-term account growth.
* Maintaining accurate pipeline forecasting and CRM management.
About You
We're looking for someone who combines commercial drive with a consultative approach.
You'll likely have:
* A genuine, demonstrable passion & proven track record in winning new business within a service led environment. B2B business development, technology sales or solution-based selling.
* Prior experience selling CCM solutions would be advantageous but is not essential.
* If you have not sold CCM solutions before, candidates who have sold a service who can demonstrate an excellent ability to sell on value would also be considered.
* Strong communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
* The ability to build credibility with senior decision-makers.
* A self-motivated, proactive and results-driven mindset.
* Experience managing a structured sales pipeline and delivering against targets.
