Job Description:
Ashton Recruitment requires a Complementary Therapy Programme Co-ordinator for our client, Relatives for Justice. This position is funded by Victims & Survivors Services. Location: Bedford. Duration: Permanent. Pay Rate: £26,692 per annum. Hours of work: 30 hours per week.
The role involves coordinating and delivering a range of complementary therapies across RFJs support centres and online, aimed at victims and survivors of conflict. The focus is on promoting healthy lifestyle choices and coping mechanisms. Responsibilities include providing training and supervision to sessional therapists, ensuring professional standards are maintained, and developing external verification and registration processes.
Specific duties include:
1. Coordinating Complementary Therapy Services for Relatives for Justice members.
2. Procurement of Complementary Therapy Therapists.
3. Supervising Therapists delivering Complementary Therapy.
4. Ensuring good governance and data protection in all aspects of the programme.
5. Maintaining safe, professional, and welcoming environments for therapy provision.
6. Reviewing and implementing good practice policies for face-to-face and online clinics.
7. Maintaining MYMOPS and Salesforce data systems in compliance with organizational and funder requirements.
8. Developing referral systems for users requiring further assistance.
9. Liaising with RFJ staff as appropriate.
10. Providing quarterly reports with qualitative and quantitative data for the Deputy Director and external funders.
11. Implementing monitoring and evaluation procedures to ensure compliance and best practice.
12. Producing informational leaflets and website updates about clinic services.
13. Maintaining all records in a legally compliant manner.
14. Performing other duties as reasonably requested by management.
Essential Criteria:
1. Relevant qualification in complementary therapy plus at least three years' experience in service delivery to victims of trauma.
2. Minimum two years' experience in project management within a community setting.
3. Extensive understanding of the legacy of conflict in Ireland and international transitional justice models.
4. Strong understanding of the somatic impacts of trauma.
5. Commitment to a holistic support delivery model for victims and survivors.
6. At least five years' experience in research, report writing, and submissions.
7. Experience with monitoring and evaluation CRM systems such as MYMOP, CORE, etc.
8. Knowledge and experience in NGO governance and best practices, including therapeutic settings.
9. Understanding of conflict-related gender harms and applying a gender lens in transitional justice.
10. Evidence of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) in trauma.
11. Excellent presentation, writing, and verbal communication skills.
12. Full driver's license or ability to travel as required.
