Overview
We're looking for an engaging individual who is known for exceptional organisational skills and a love for supporting others. Working as part of a passionate team, you will play an integral role in the property. You will sit under the Herefordshire Facilities Team, with contractual location at Croft Castle 4 days a week and The Weir Garden & Herefordshire Countryside 1 day a week. You will work 37.5 hours per week between 9 am and 5 pm. This is a fixed‑term contract, expected to last up to 6 months.
Responsibilities
Provide a comprehensive administration service and assist the wider Herefordshire team, ensuring the property is a wonderful place for all to volunteer and work. You will carry out cleaning duties, ensuring back offices and staff toilets are presented correctly, and mainly be the go‑to person for assistance. You will supervise contractors on site, look after day‑to‑day operations of Croft Castle, The Weir Garden and Herefordshire Countryside, and may be requested to cover other Herefordshire properties on odd occasions. You may also minute meetings covering the whole Herefordshire portfolio. You will perform administrative tasks, supervise contractors, look after people and logistics, use a variety of IT packages to keep accurate records, ensure compliance, use National Trust systems and write internal communications.

* Confident in written and verbal communication, and comfortable communicating with people at all levels
* Flexible and customer‑focused with strong customer service skills
* Experienced in a business support environment, along with facilities or office responsibility
* IT confident, as you will be using Word, Excel, Outlook, and National Trust systems
