Job Description:
We are seeking a full-time Band 8a Occupational Therapist Lead at a specialist autism school in Maidenhead, working with ABA therapies. The salary ranges from £57,000 to £64,000 depending on experience.
The role involves working with 130 pupils aged 4-16 with complex needs related to Autism Spectrum Disorders, within a multidisciplinary team including Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Art Therapists. The Therapies Lead will provide clinical and operational leadership, develop therapy services, and support the school’s objectives and ethos.
Responsibilities include:
* Providing leadership for therapy services alongside the Head of Therapies
* Developing and innovating therapy pathways
* Supporting pupils directly for four days a week
