Speyside Medical Group Partnership runs three practices in the Scottish Highland and Moray with 9000 patients between our practices in Aberlour, Glenlivet and Grantown-on-Spey, working between and gaining insights from two health boards (NHS Highland and NHS Grampian).
The Grantown-on-Spey Practice has been in existence for many years, and in April 2017 the Partnership at Grantown took over the GMS contract for Glenlivet Medical Practice and became Speyside Medical Group. Prior to that the Glenlivet Practice had been run by a single handed GP for around 30 years. In April 2025 Speyside Medical Group took over the GMS contract for Aberlour Medical Practice which had been a 2C Health and Social Care Moray run practice for over a year
Following the planned retiral of our long-standing Practice Manager in 2024, we are looking for a new, motivated individual to take on the full-time role of managing our team. The Practice Manager job role is to manage and coordinate all aspects of each practices functionality, motivate and manage staff, optimise efficiency and financial performance, and ensure each practices achieves the long-term strategic objectives, as set by the partners, in a safe and effective working environment.
We have an Operations Manager and Finance Manager established in the team, who will work with you. You will manage and co-ordinate all aspects of practice functionality, motivate and manage staff; optimise efficiency and financial performance; and collaborate with the partners in working towards the long-term strategic goals for each practice. There is a focus on high-quality patient care, which makes this is a rewarding job.
Training and mentoring will be provided by the current post-holder.
We are a well-established, forward-thinking, partnership of nine Partners. We have an experienced clinical and administrative team at each practice, with some cross-cover.
