An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Marketing and Communications Manager to be part of a team supporting the current and future needs of the organisation through focusing on communications and issues/reputation management and delivering a targeted and efficient quality marketing service.
Job responsibilities include:
1. Support the delivery of marketing and communication activities across the Trust
2. Visit academies to gather content for news articles and social media
3. Prepare clear briefs for designers and design agencies to produce marketing materials
4. Assist with various communication projects, including internal/external messaging, website updates, stakeholder visits, and campaign planning
5. Update and manage website content using WordPress
6. Contribute content for the monthly Trust-wide news roundup
7. Help plan and coordinate events at academies when needed
8. Create and schedule regular social media posts that reflect the Trust’s values
Candidate profile:
9. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
10. Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with shifting deadlines
11. Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
12. Experience creating digital content and managing social media platforms
13. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with colleagues and students
Role information:
14. Salary: £44,000 - £50,500 per annum (paid on an hourly rate equivalent)
15. Contract Type: Temporary
16. Contract length: 6-8 weeks
17. Working hours: 36 hours per week
18. Location: Sutton (hybrid working)
