Technical Account Manager | Up to £45,000 | Reading
Our client is seeking a Technical Account Manager to act as the first point of contact for sales across international regions. This role involves managing enquiries from established partners, providing quotations, and developing new business opportunities. The position also works closely with engineering and product teams to ensure customer feedback drives future product development.
Key Responsibilities
+Proactively identify, pursue, and convert new business leads while managing inbound enquiries through to order completion.
+Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and distributors, including attending key customer visits, trade shows, and industry events.
+Work with agents to set clear strategies around performance, processes, and contractual agreements.
+Develop and deliver sales plans aligned with company objectives, including the creation and monitoring of KPIs.
Skills & Experience
+Background in geotechnical engineering or a related technical discipline, with the ability to apply sector knowledge in a commercial sales environment.
+Strong technical aptitude with the ability to quickly understand complex products and systems.
+Proven track record in achieving sales targets and managing accounts independently.
+Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
