Based in the heart of Congleton, Esland's Daven School is a specialist setting for children and young people with social, emotional, special educational and mental health needs.
1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree
2. Experience of teaching KS4 to KS5 across a range of subjects
3. A strong understanding of SEN/SEND/SEMH and demonstrable prior experience of working in this sector
4. Knowledge of assessment frameworks and progress tracking
5. Excellent behaviour management and inclusive teaching strategies
6. Knowledge and prior experience of support post-16 pupils approaching the end of full time education
7. An ability to be resilient whilst also maintaining empathy and a supportive approach
8. Strong communication and team work skills
