Salary: £28,715 - £31,905 per annum (depending on experience)
Location: Home based and you'll need to work from the Birmingham office every week.
Hours: 35hrs with shifts worked between 8am and 6pm Monday-Friday. You will also work Saturdays 8am to 2pm on a rota basis (from home).

We've got a great opportunity for an IT Service Desk Analyst to join our team permanently.
This is an important day-to-day support role where you'll be giving great customer service and support to Platform Housing Group's ICT users.
It's a really varied role where you'll work closely with the ICT team, service users and external contractors to give brilliant support on our ICT Service Desk. You'll also help out the Desktop Support Analysts with their work, which includes setting up and rolling out new laptops, PCs, and other IT kit.
You'll be handling calls logged to the Service Desk and sorting out first-line support issues from start to finish, as well as tackling second-line support calls that are assigned to you.
You should have experience working in an IT support setting with a solid customer service and support background. This is a high-profile role within the company, so you'll need to be flexible in your approach, juggling your workload, handling first line support, system security, and software-related tasks effectively.
Requirements
* Solid experience providing first line support in a technical setting
* Good experience with problem solving, showing you're great at figuring out systems, processes, and how things work
* Knowledge of all Microsoft products
* Brilliant customer service skills with the ability to chat easily with everyone - internal and external customers
* Ability to give helpful advice, guidance, and support to customers at all levels
* Ability to juggle tasks and work well under pressure
* Ability to lift and carry IT equipment
* Available to work at least one Saturday in six, from 8am - 2pm (from home)
Whilst this role is home-based, you'll need to be able to travel and work from Group offices approximately two days per week. Our Group offices are at Birmingham Business Park and Central Park, Worcester.
