The Role
To co-ordinate the operational management of the department and optimise profitability in conjunction with short and long-term business strategies, goals and objectives. Lead and direct all High-Risk functions to fulfil all existing and potential customer requirements and expectations in terms of delivery, efficiency, food safety and quality.
Your Key Responsibilities
1. Complete role and tasks required in line with all risk assessments and company procedures.
2. Responsible for handling food products, maintaining high personal hygiene standards and observing all company hygiene, quality and housekeeping rules, as laid out in company induction.
3. Engage actively with other department managers to ensure the future success of the organisation, providing leadership and direction to the business.
4. Lead, manage and provide guidance to the team ensuring individual objectives are aligned with the achievement of manufacturing objectives, specifications and standards.
5. Develop, implement and monitor appropriate financial controls and operational KPI’s so that production continually meets or beats financial performance commitments.
