Vacancy: Business Support Advisor Closing Date: Sunday 8 June 2025 Shortlisting Date: Monday 9 June 2025 Proposed Interview Date: Monday 16 June 2025 Salary: £ 26,656.26 Hours: Full Time, Permanent About the vacancy: As a Business Support Advisor, you will be part of a dynamic team that delivers a broad range of administrative and operational support to the Homes & Communities department. Your role will be essential in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the team, with a strong emphasis on providing outstanding customer service. We are looking for someone who can demonstrate a clear understanding of community regeneration, as well as the principles of social value and the effective delivery of community benefits. Specifically, you will: This role will undertake the coordination and administration required by the Regeneration Group and wider business support to ensure the effective operation of the Regeneration and Communities Team Raising orders and processing invoices across the service area. Updating all records linked to Community Benefits and associated contracts. You will diarise any pending dates for the years ahead in terms of creating invoices (associated to Community Benefits) You will work with Finance to generate monthly/yearly invoices in line with the contractor record $ you will also obtain weekly/monthly/quarterly reports from the Community Benefit fund and update records accordingly. You will actively cross reference data/figures across departments (specifically linked to contract spend data) $ ensuring to collaborate openly with internal departments You will work with the Finance department to generate letters and create letters for outstanding invoices You will develop a network of collaborative, productive and effective working relationships with colleagues across the association, to ensure a $one team& approach is taken to community investment activity. You will resolve day-to-day challenges that may arise, including re-scheduling appointments and negotiating with relevant internal and external stakeholders, customers and colleagues. You will organise and participate in meetings as required, produce and circulate agendas, reports and papers, and take notes of meetings. Especially around Contractor meetings and any meeting related to the wider Regeneration and Community Development team You will support the completion of documentation and reports for any legal proceedings. You will support the production and delivery of $What matters& plans within neighbourhoods in line with customer expectations as well as the development of the asset mapping documentation, to include support services. You will assist with the organisation of community based events and initiatives, to support community regeneration activity. You will be the Regeneration and Community Development teams communications lead and obtain relevant training. You will process data and information to ensure that systems are accurate and are kept up-to-date at all times. Specifically related [triage/monitoring ] to the Community investment reporting documentation (including contracts record, community benefit documentation etc) You will identify key risks relating to the role in a proactive manner to ensure negative impacts on the Homes & Communities services are minimised. You will maintain compliance at all times with NCH&s policies and procedures relating to confidentiality and data protection. You will respond proactively to customer complaints. You will act upon safeguarding concerns immediately and in compliance with the safeguarding policy and procedure. You will keep abreast of all good practice issues relating to the role.
