About the role:
As we continue to evolve, we have an exciting opportunity for a General Manager to join our team at Elmbank York, Tapestry Collection by Hilton. The hotel sits just outside York city walls, is grade 2 listed and designed by J.B. & W. Atkinson around 1870. It hosts fine examples of the Art Nouveau period including murals, a stunning oak staircase, stain glass windows and enamel fresco by Rennie Mackintosh. The hotel boast 63 bedroom, along with Lethams Brasserie and Peacock Cocktail Bar.
As one of our General Managers you will be supported and empowered to take responsibility for every aspect of the hotel – team engagement, service that wows the guests and the engine that drives commercial success. You will also:
1. Establish clear performance goals and inspire, lead and coach the team to deliver the winning formula.
2. Strive for operational excellence in everything they do.
3. Drive the highest standards of safety for our guests and the team.
4. Embed and bring to life our tools relating to but not limited to Operations, Health & Safety, HR & Training, Sales, Marketing and Revenue.
