About the role
In this role you will be a Video Editor within our internal marketing video team, responsible for editing and producing captivating videos, demos, and cut scenes that showcase Rebellion’s products. You will ensure work aligns with technical specifications and artistic vision of each project, collaborate across development teams, and use specialist video tools to deliver content across media channels.
Responsibilities
* Capturing and editing high‑quality video content for internal and external use.
* Creating motion graphics for promotional material.
* Ensuring each video asset is fit for purpose for the target audience and channel, in line with briefings and delivery schedules.
* Collaborating closely with internal stakeholders (Marketing, Art, Designers, Programmers, Outsourcing, Producers) to create best outcomes.
* Collaborating with team members in the Video Editing department and Producers to solicit feedback and ensure alignment with briefs.
* Utilising specialist video tools and tactics to convert video for in‑game.
* Tracking and updating the progress of day‑to‑day tasks using designated tracking tools.
* Actively seeking innovative ways to engage a targeted audience to heighten awareness and sales potential for Rebellion’s games.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in gameplay capture, video editing, and compositing techniques, including keying.
* Experience using game engines for making cinematics.
* Fundamental techniques for audio mixing.
* A passion for shooter and action games.
* Knowledge of Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, image capturing tools, filming with professional camera equipment (e.g. Sony FX3), Photoshop and other 2D software.
* Knowledge of production pipelines.
* An awareness of the latest trends and techniques in video content creation.
* Experience creating, editing, and delivering short‑form videos for TikTok, Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
* Experience with versioning in an editing pipeline.

The role is based at our riverside headquarters in Oxford. The office is located a short walk from the city centre, with excellent transport links and free parking at the studio.
