Overview
Under regular supervision you will develop skills to support and enhance the professional psychological care of clients within the service, across all sectors of care; providing consultation to other professionals and agencies, providing psychological assessment and brief psychological interventions. You will work with colleagues within the multi-disciplinary team and so should be able to demonstrate the ability to do so. The role will also involve participation in audit, service evaluation and service development projects.

We're seeking a dedicated Consultant Mental Health Practitioner to join our Forensic Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (FCAMHS) team. This is a fixed term post for 1 year with the potential to extend. Step into a unique role within a supportive, close-knit community forensic setting, working alongside an expert team of Clinical Psychologists, Psychiatrists, Nurses, and Admin staff. Responsibilities
* Deliver specialist assessments and risk work rarely offered in similar roles

Candidate profile / Qualifications
* Professionals qualified in Mental Health Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Social Work, or Psychology with experience in mental health — ideally with young people and a background in forensic settings
* Organised, communicative, tech-savvy (Microsoft Office and Excel skills a must), and driven by a genuine desire to support vulnerable, marginalised youth
