What You'll Be Doing
We are seeking an experienced, proactive Band 6-equivalent Pelvic Health Physiotherapist to join our growing private practice.This role is ideal for someone who loves working autonomously but appreciates being part of a small, supportive team.You'll have the time to give your patients the care they deserve — delivering truly personalised, high-quality treatment without feeling rushed, so you can achieve the best outcomes for them and feel proud of the care you provide.
You will have the opportunity to:
* Manage a varied caseload including bladder/bowel dysfunction, prolapse, pelvic pain, pre- and post-natal rehab, and return-to-sport.
* Deliver high-quality, evidence-based assessment and treatment, including internal pelvic floor examinations.
* Support patients in setting and achieving meaningful goals.
* Contribute to the development of our service, patient education resources, and community workshops.
* Collaborate with local GPs, consultants, midwives, and other professionals to ensure joined-up care.
Key Responsibilities
* Independently assess, diagnose, and treat a variety of urogynaecological, obstetric, and postnatal presentations.
* Contribute to the clinic's high standards of patient care and professionalism.
* Maintain accurate, timely clinical records in line with HCPC/CSP standards.
* Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional standards at all times.
* Actively participate in service development, audit, and CPD activity.
Essential Criteria
* HCPC and CSP registration.
* At least 2 years' post-graduate experience, with significant time in pelvic health (Band 6 NHS level or equivalent) in the UK.
* Competence in internal pelvic floor examination and treatment.
* Evidence of relevant postgraduate training (e.g., POGP courses).
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
* Positive attitude with a genuine passion for female health and wellbeing.
* Enthusiastic about being part of a growing business.
* Commitment to personal and professional development.
* Flexibility in working hours and availability.
Desirable Criteria
* Experience in pelvic pain or complex cases.
* Additional skills in one of the following: Pilates, Acupuncture, advanced massage/soft tissue skills (e.g. pregnancy massage, scar therapy).
* Interest in teaching, mentoring, or running workshops.
* Comfortable with using digital systems and clinic software.
* Experience in private practice.
