Job Description
This hands-on role focuses on the successful delivery of various Treasury projects, including bank rationalization, process improvements, acquisitions, new product initiatives, and global Treasury system implementations. The ideal candidate will have a blend of operational finance expertise, project management skills, and a strong understanding of banking processes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with internal business partners to identify and document project requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
2. Banking Partner Coordination: Liaise with banking partners to complete necessary documentation accurately, preventing delays in account openings related to projects.
3. Project Deployment Coordination: Facilitate communication among internal teams, external partners, and IT to ensure smooth project delivery.
4. User Acceptance Testing & Data Migration: Manage UAT and oversee data migration to ensure project success.
5. Collaboration with Leadership: Work with the Head of Treasury and Regional Treasury Operations Managers on projects and operational improvements.
6. Process Improvement Delivery: Identify and implement process enhancements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications
Knowledge & Experience:
* Educational Background: Postgraduate degree (BA or BSc) in a business-related field.
* Proactive Mindset: Self-starter capable of challenging the status quo and proposing innovative solutions.
* Operational Finance Experience: Proven experience in operational finance, with knowledge of systems and KYC requirements.
* Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written skills for engaging internal and external stakeholders.
* Analytical and Curious: Interest in understanding business processes, with a willingness to learn and adapt.
* Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
* Project Methodology Knowledge: Familiarity with methodologies like Agile and experience in system/process implementation, with an understanding of Treasury principles.
* Regulatory Understanding: Practical experience with financial regulations is a plus.
* Desirable Experience: Experience with acquisitions and supporting Trax/Quantum implementations is highly desirable.
Salary: £68,000 per annum plus excellent benefits, including a bonus.
