Job Summary
As a Senior/Team Leader, you will play a vital role in assisting the Manager/Deputy in leading and managing our Children's Home. By embracing the approach and ethos of our organisation, you will contribute to delivering outcomes and providing high-quality care that aligns with our Home's statement of purpose. Your dedication and commitment will be instrumental in creating a nurturing and supportive environment for our Children.
Duties
* To assist the Manager in providing a high quality service for children and young people requiring care.
* To lead by example and maintain good professional practices.
* To take responsibility for the safety and wellbeing of our children and young people, whilst on duty.
* To ensure all children have a plan, a risk assessment, behaviour management plan and any other child's plan and that work is completed with them as instructed by their plans.
* To lead shift plans and weekly plans, guiding and supporting staff on duty to implement the plan and when incidents occur.
Experience
* At least two years' experience in working with children/young people
* Minimum one-year at a senior level within a children's home setting
* Experience of managing staff team
* Experience of working with children with challenging behaviours
* Have completed NVQ Level 4 in Residential Childcare or equivalent
* Excellent communication and written skills
* Have the ability to develop good working relations with the team, professionals and the young people
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £14.12-£15.27 per hour
