Responsibilities
* Provide expert, dual‑trained sexual health and contraception care
* Lead and deliver outreach to marginalised and underserved groups
* Identify unmet needs and design targeted interventions
* Work closely with partners including mental health services, homelessness teams, and voluntary organisations
* Ensure smooth pathways between outreach and clinic services for complex cases
* Service development and transformation
* Data‑driven planning and evaluation of outreach activity
* Support and mentor colleagues and students
* Promote innovation and continuous improvement
Qualifications
* Registered General Nurse
* FSRH Diploma
* Experience in sexual health and contraception
* Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
* Independent Nurse Prescriber certification (desirable)
* Experience in Outreach Sexual Health, particularly working with hard‑to‑reach communities (desirable)
* Willingness to undertake training for IUD/IUS insertion (preferred)
* Teaching and mentoring qualification or commitment to complete relevant training (preferred)
Working Conditions
This full‑time position requires 37.5 hours per week, worked across five days with evening and occasional weekend work. A full driving licence is essential to enable travel between clinic sites and community locations. All personnel must complete safeguarding and vetting procedures as part of the recruitment process.
