This is a brand-new strategic appointment within a growing concrete operation serving the North East and Yorkshire. Based in Thirsk and reporting directly to the Concrete Director, the role has been created to shape the next phase of commercial growth.
The business is investing heavily in its future, with clear expansion plans across product development, customer acquisition and market share. As Commercial Manager, you will own the commercial strategy for the division, driving profitability, disciplined pricing, margin control and sustainable revenue growth.
You will lead forecasting, oversee pricing structures and manage commercial risk across materials, transport and production costs. Identifying new markets, partnerships and opportunities — particularly around sustainable and low-carbon concrete solutions — will form a core part of your remit.
Customer service excellence underpins the entire operation. You will work closely with planning, shipping and operational teams to ensure commercial commitments translate into delivery performance, while strengthening key accounts and expanding the client base.
This role requires a strategic, commercially astute individual with a strong background in concrete or aggregates, capable of balancing growth ambition with operational control.
