They deliver high-quality civil engineering projects in various sectors including highways, bridges, infrastructure, flood defence, energy, and rail.Your new roleCoordinate with site management to ensure timely and accurate completion of quality take-offs in line with project requirements.Oversee setting-out activities and manage the implementation of sectional service plans and drawings, ensuring permits are issued appropriately.Conduct inspections and testing to confirm that all works meet design specifications and quality standards.Prepare and review risk assessments and method statements, ensuring all control measures are clearly communicated and implemented on site.Monitor site operations to ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and company procedures.Identify and escalate potential commercial risks or opportunities to the project team to support proactive decision-making.Support the Quantity Surveyor and Project Manager by providing accurate site records and documentation for claims and reporting.Manage the preparation and submission of as-built documentation for your section, contributing to the final site health and safety file.Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to Junior Engineers, fostering their professional development and integration into the team.
