SEND Teacher - Ages 16 to 25

Salary: £25 - £30 per hour

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a specialist SEND further education provision with multiple campuses across Birmingham. The setting promotes independence, life skills, and inclusive learning, supporting learners to achieve meaningful outcomes in a supportive and well-resourced environment.
The provision is looking to take on a SEND Teacher on both a temporary and permanent basis. The successful SEND Teacher will be working with learners aged 16-25 with a range of needs including ASD, SLD, PMLD and physical disabilities, delivering tailored lessons and supporting both academic and personal development.
The successful SEND Teacher will have:
• QTS or relevant teaching qualification
• Experience working with young people with SEND, including ASD, SLD and PMLD
• Experience delivering differentiated lessons to meet a range of needs
• Strong behaviour management and classroom control
• A patient, adaptable and proactive approach
• A genuine passion for supporting young people with additional needs
