We have an exciting opportunity to recruit a new team of support workers to assist one of our clients with Acquired Brain Injury.
Are you who we are looking for:
You will be required to support our male client who has an acquired brain injury, which means he needs support with his activities of daily living and accessing the community. He previously enjoyed the outdoors and was very active. He would like his support team to share similar interests, and actively support him to reach his rehabilitation goals. Someone who is passionate about rehabilitation and reaching goals would be ideal for this role. Also good communication and a team player.
The salary for this role is from £14.00ph depending on experience.
Duties
Your duties will include supporting our client with social and leisure activities, and rehabilitation activities.
Key skills, knowledge and experience
* You should have previous experience of working in the Health Sector.
* UK Driving licence and familiarity with driving a Wheelchair accessible vehicle WAV).
* You should be trained to NVQ/Diploma Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or have equivalent experience e.g. completed year 1/level 4 of a recognised health profession degree course)
