The Role
As Manufacturing Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our minting and finishing processes, ensuring efficiency, consistency, and exceptional quality. You’ll manage a talented team of technicians and craftsmen, coordinate production schedules, and work closely with design, quality assurance, and logistics teams to deliver world-class collector pieces on time and to specification.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, mentor, and manage the production team to achieve operational excellence.
* Oversee the full manufacturing process from metal preparation to striking, finishing, and packaging.
* Ensure strict adherence to quality standards and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Collaborate with design and engineering teams on new product introductions and process enhancements.
* Manage production schedules, budgets, and resources effectively.
* Maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
* Identify opportunities for innovation and process optimization within the minting facility.
About You
* Proven experience in a manufacturing management or production leadership role, ideally within precision engineering, minting, or fine metals.
* Strong understanding of quality control, process improvement, and lean manufacturing principles.
* Exceptional leadership and communication skills with a focus on team development.
* A passion for craftsmanship, detail, and delivering products of exceptional quality.
* Degree or equivalent qualification in Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field preferred.
