We have a great opportunity for a Construction Planner to join our team within Vistry South East based at our office in Caterham, Surrey. As a Construction Planner, you will support the Construction Department and collaborate with other departments (Development, Technical, Finance, and Commercial) throughout all project phases. This role may involve working on one or multiple projects as needed.

What we expect from you…

* Effective written and verbal communication skills to engage and update stakeholders throughout the build process
* Proficiency in IT packages such as MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Asta

* Previous experience in construction planning, preferably residential
* Experience in forecasting and delivering projects as per forecasts
* Strong leadership and communication skills to motivate and engage team members at all levels

* A proactive, self-motivated individual aiming for excellence
* Preferred qualifications include a BTEC, HND, NVQ, or degree in the Built Environment Professions (e.g., Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture)
About the Construction Planner role…
* Developing a unified planning system for the Construction department and wider business
* Assisting in preparing and revising construction and preconstruction programmes
* Supporting the creation and modification of construction logistics plans, visual time slices, and tender presentations from a planning perspective
* Contributing to the production of 3D models
* Assisting with the preparation of Construction and Environmental Management Plans (CEMPs)
* Preparing progress schedules in Excel
* Updating monthly project progress reports
* Maintaining programme issue records, proper filing, and distribution of up-to-date programmes and logistics
* Gathering feedback from sites to improve programme accuracy
* Visiting sites to enhance knowledge of construction methods and standards and verify reported progress
