A Senior Network Engineer manages, designs, and secures complex enterprise network infrastructures (LAN/WAN/VPN/VoIP) while providing technical leadership.
* Infrastructure Management: Design, configure, install, and maintain complex network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers)
* Troubleshooting: Provide Tier 3 support for complex network issues, analysing performance bottlenecks, and resolving incidents under pressure
* Security & Compliance: Implement and manage network security controls, including firewall policies, VPNs, and IDS/IPS
* Project Leadership: Lead network projects, upgrades, and migrations, often acting as a technical lead for junior staff.
* Documentation: Maintain comprehensive network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and inventory.
* Optimization: Monitor network performance and optimize for efficiency and up-time.
