Herefordshire and Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust is looking for a Physiotherapy Assistant for the Evesham, Bredon, Broadway and Inkberrow (EBBI) Neighbourhood Team. This part‑time position is 21 hours over 3 days per week.
The role involves delivering both planned and urgent physiotherapy support to adult patients. You will work closely with physiotherapists, occupational therapists and the wider community nursing team to provide high‑quality patient care.
We visit patients in their homes and provide new starters with a structured induction package to build confidence and competence. There are many opportunities to develop your skills and knowledge.
Opening closing date is 14 May 2026.
Main duties of the job
The physiotherapy core service works from 08:30 to 16:30 Monday to Friday and is supported by the wider Neighbourhood Team which operates 07:30–18:30 Monday to Sunday including bank holidays. You will either work alone or alongside colleagues to support delegated tasks in line with Trust standards and core values.
Within the scope of a physiotherapist’s direction, you will carry out delegated duties, implement intervention programmes, provide standard equipment and treatment programmes, and may also be tasked with personal care, supporting daily activities and manual handling where appropriate.
Clear and timely communication – verbal, non‑verbal or written – is key to supporting patient‑centred care.
Note: This role does not routinely provide sponsorship for work. Employment on a time‑limited visa does not guarantee sponsorship at expiry.
