Since 2018, Turley have invested significantly in their EIA capabilities under the leadership of Andy Ricketts with a vision to deliver an EIA service that is different to market competitors, one focused around the management and resolution of impacts through design and using EIA as a project risk management tool.
In 2024, we are now a team of eleven EIA Practitioners with a national reputation for our service amongst peers, the legal profession, and clients. We are trusted advisors to many clients who seek our strategic advice to navigate the EIA Regulations and deliver projects which are better for the environment.
We work dynamically as a national team and are collaborative with the wider Turley team providing a single unified service across planning, EIA, sustainability and strategic engagement/communication.

The role of a Senior Consultant, EIA includes the following:

Lead Cumulative Impact Assessment, prepare other parts of Environmental Statements (including Environmental Management Plans) and prepare programmes, technical notes and risk registers.
You will always work collaboratively and be supported by a Project Director, with support to you from an Assistant Project Manager.
If you have a strong workplace experience in the field of EIA (supported by relevant technical qualifications), have a genuine passion/enthusiasm for EIA, and are interested in taking your practitioner skills to the next level – we would like to hear from you.
We would like for you to be able to demonstrate excellent analytical and communication skills both through report-writing and verbal advice.
This role is open to full time or part time working and all locations.
Alice Wells, Senior Consultant, EIA provides the following insight:
‘ Working in the EIA team at Turley has given me great opportunities to develop my consultancy skills and be involved in our increasingly diverse range of projects. We have a collective focus on delivering high-quality products and advice in EIA, but are also lucky to have a strong team culture. We are not driven by providing profits to shareholders and therefore our profits provide our business with resilience, the ability to invest in people and provide direct financial reward from profit to co-owners.
We offer excellent remuneration and a flexible benefits package including medical insurance, pension, flexible working allowance, ownership dividend and performance-related bonus.
Turley operates a blended flexible working model, allowing co-owners choice, freedom, and flexibility as to where, when and how they work, balancing personal, team and client requirements. We are happy to talk about flexible working options in more detail during the recruitment process.
we celebrate difference and we're actively building more diverse teams.
