About The Role
The Fortnum & Mason Satellite Bar is located in Terminal 5 at Heathrow Airport. A moment of relaxed style in the busy heart of Heathrow, this Bar is the perfect pre-flight destination for first class dining and cocktails. Their menu is fresh and seasonal with seafood being the outstanding element.
Fortnum & Mason are currently looking for an experienced Bartender. This is an exciting position for a Bartender looking to develop knowledge in the finest beverages offered at Fortnum & Mason.
Key Accountabilities:
1. Working alongside the team to ensure smooth running of the Bar service
2. Ongoing and up to date knowledge of the Wine Cellar, Cocktail menu and all other specialist beverages that the Bar offers
3. Continuous improvement and development of knowledge for all wines, spirits cocktails and beverages served along with any recommended pairings
4. Constantly looking for areas where you can deliver more
5. Committed to delivering exceptional customer service at all times
6. Ensuring that all Bar areas are kept clean, tidy, well stocked and always ready for service
7. Creating and delivering an extraordinary customer experience, meeting all targets set
8. Demonstrating thorough product knowledge of wines, spirits and all beverages served
About You
Fortnum & Mason expect the successful candidate to have the following skills and experience:
9. Previous Bartending experience
10. Demonstrate an authentic and passionate understanding of brand, menus and restaurant service
11. Ability to multitask, prioritise and manage time effectively
12. Solid interpersonal and communication skills
13. Ability to think quickly and rationally to ever-changing situations
14. Consistently lead by example
