The opportunity
An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Trade Mark Administrator (Arabic speaking) to join the Intellectual Property department. This role is primarily focused on supporting clients based in the Middle East with respect to their trade mark portfolios both in the Middle East and internationally. You will ideally have had at least five to ten years' experience working within the IP sector with a focus on trade marks. You will work within a team environment servicing large multi-national trade mark portfolios and be accustomed to working to tight deadlines with IPOs, overseas law firms/trade mark attorneys, internal and external clients.
The team
Our Intellectual Property team is consistently ranked as band 1 in both Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners. We have one of the largest IP teams in London with approximately 80 lawyers, offering unparalleled contentious and non-contentious capabilities across all IP rights including trade marks, patents, copyright, and data privacy. We advise on IP protection, enforcement, strategic management, valuation, and monetisation of brand portfolios. Our clients are diverse, ranging from traditional to innovative sectors.
What You'll Do
* Support new or ongoing trade mark projects, including portfolio onboarding, and managing international recordal and renewal projects.
* Review correspondence to identify key information, deadlines, and update client's IP software accordingly.
* Assist with due diligence and data audits related to trade mark and IP portfolios.
* Prepare and file application forms for trade marks, designs, renewals, assignments, licenses, and other changes.
* Maintain documentation and update internal systems to track project milestones.
* Implement standard documents and reports for global offices.
About You
* Previous experience as a Trade Mark Administrator or Paralegal in a law firm or IP practice.
* CITMA qualification (desirable).
* Knowledge of WebTMS (IPPO) or similar trade mark systems.
* Strong skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint; ability to simplify complex documents.
* Excellent communication and attention to detail.
* Ability to work calmly under pressure and manage confidential matters.

* Team-oriented with good interpersonal skills.
* Flexible and willing to work outside standard hours if needed.
