Retail Data Engineer

Role Overview:
* Location: Hertfordshire (Hybrid)
* Package: £60,000pa + bonus + strong benefits package

What You'll Be Doing:
* Configure, enhance, and maintain a Salesforce-based Sitetracker system to support retail operations
* Translate business and user needs into practical system workflows, data structures, and improvements
* Manage system updates, integrations, and platform components to ensure smooth performance
* Investigate and resolve data, processing, and functionality issues quickly and effectively
* Collaborate with third-party vendors and internal teams to maintain secure and reliable data management
* Optimise and refine workflows, ensuring systems stay efficient and aligned with business needs
* Promote best practices around security, system usage, and governance
* Create clear documentation and user guides to support system adoption
* Deliver training and enable users to build their own reports and manage data confidently
* Contribute to the roadmap for future system enhancements and continuous improvement
Main Skills Needed:
* Strong experience as a Salesforce Administrator
* Hands-on expertise with Salesforce Flow (screen, record-triggered, scheduled flows)
* Solid data management skills, including SOQL for querying and troubleshooting
* Experience with tools such as MuleSoft, Dataloader, or Salesforce Inspector
* Ability to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
* Understanding of business process improvement and change management
* Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities
* Confident communicator, able to work across technical and non-technical teams
