Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Chef to work within the kitchen at Whitehills Health Care and Community Centre in Forfar. You will be responsible for delivering the highest standard of Catering Service within the hospital to patients, staff and visitors whilst maintaining a clean, safe working environment.

Responsibilities
You will be responsible for delivering the highest standard of Catering Service within the hospital to patients, staff and visitors whilst maintaining a clean, safe working environment.
Requirements and qualifications
* You must have the ability to work as part of a team or on your own initiative, follow instructions and possess good communication skills. You must also be able to respond constructively to unpredictable situations and able to cope under pressure.
* You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
* Previous relevant experience in a Catering environment is essential, as is a good knowledge of work procedures, practices & equipment through experience and professional qualifications to SVQ/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
* This contract is a permanent post.
* The working hours are 16 hours per week to be discussed at interview. Shift times vary between 7:00am and 6:30pm; enhancements are paid for weekend work.
* The salary scale for this post is pro rata for part-time hours.
