Boeing Defence United Kingdom (BDUK) is seeking a Product Support Engineer to provide dedicated support for the E-7 programme, as well as other Boeing Fixed and Rotor Wing aircraft platforms.

BDUK, a subsidiary of Boeing, employs over 2000 people in the UK and delivers a range of exciting contracts to UK defence customers, including the E-7 AEW&C, P-8A Maritime Patrol Aircraft, Autonomous Systems, C4ISR Services, and support for Chinook and Apache fleets. We are currently in a growth phase.
The BDUK engineering function operates within a matrix organisation, with departments providing technical expertise and products to our programmes. This role is within the Product Support Engineering Department, which covers areas such as Reliability Centred Maintenance Analysis, Logistic Support Analysis, Obsolescence Management, and Technical Publications.
As the Product Support Engineer for the E-7 AEW&C programme, you will implement Product Support philosophies and techniques while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. You will report to the BDUK Product Support Engineering Manager and collaborate closely with other specialists in the department.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and maintain plans and processes to ensure Product Support outputs for the E-7 AEW&C meet technical, regulatory, and company requirements.
2. Produce routine Product Support deliverables specific to the E-7 AEW&C programme.
3. Identify, collect, analyse, document, and provide actionable data and information relevant to Product Support activities.
4. Support internal and external briefings on Product Support engineering activities and communicate progress within the department.
5. Liaise with Engineering, Reliability & Maintainability, Integrated Logistics Support, Publications, and Supply Chain teams in both Boeing UK and USA to exchange data and information supporting the E-7 AEW&C.
6. Maintain Data Governance and Data Assurance to ensure Data Integrity and Quality.
7. Identify and drive Continuous Improvement initiatives.
8. Support audits and reviews to verify that products and data meet required standards.
9. Work under the direction of the Lead Technical Support Engineer and the BDUK Support Engineering Manager.

Basic Qualifications (Skills/Experience):
10. Ability to obtain UK SC security clearance (essential)
11. Degree in a relevant STEM discipline
12. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
13. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
14. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications (Skills/Experience):
15. Ideally, some experience or understanding of Support Engineering in a military environment
