Head of Application UI Design Location: Hertford, UK | Salary: Up to £90,000 | Type: Permanent, Full-Time (on-site) A growing, innovative technology company specialising in retail applications is seeking a senior Head of Application UI Design to lead its UI strategy and delivery. You’ll manage a small design team, working closely with international development teams to create and enhance web, mobile, tablet, iOS, and Android interfaces. Key Responsibilities: Lead UI design for existing and new applications. Collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to deliver user-focused applications. Analyse user journeys and design intuitive, visually appealing interfaces. Manage complex UI projects from concept to implementation. Requirements: 10 years’ experience in application UI design across multiple platforms. Strong hands-on design and prototyping skills with a graphic design flair. Proven ability to deliver exceptional user experiences and manage UI projects. Understanding of software development and testing lifecycles. Degree in a relevant field and good A-levels. Local to Hertford with own transport and willingness to travel internationally. English as a first language.
