Overview:The Senior Commercial Manager will provide strategic commercial leadership on a high-profile digital programme within Client Corporate Services. This is a senior, non-technical role focused on governance, procurement, stakeholder management, and enterprise-level commercial strategy..
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead commercial strategy from inception to contract award
* Manage high-value, high-risk contracts and frameworks
* Ensure compliance, governance, and value for money
* Influence senior stakeholders and suppliers
* Oversee end-to-end procurement and contract lifecycle
* Provide programme-level insights and support strategic decision-making
Essential Experience:
* HMT Green Book business cases
* Public Accounts (PA) 2023 exposure
* Large, complex public sector programmes
* Procurement and commercial lifecycle management
* High assurance/governance environments
* Influencing senior stakeholders
* CCS frameworks
Desirable:
* Large-scale Programme procurements
* MCIPS qualification
* Atamis procurement system
Candidate Profile:
* Strategic, senior-level experience (Programme/portfolio)
* Strong stakeholder management and commercial acumen
* Able to operate in complex, high-visibility environments
* Comfortable influencing and challenging senior decision-makers
