Quantity Surveyor
Salary: £33,000 £55,000 per year (depending on experience)
We are looking for a motivated Quantity Surveyor to join a well established business in the Glasgow area and support the successful delivery of construction projects.
Key Responsibilities-
* Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports
* Monitor project costs and manage cost control
* Review tenders and negotiate supplier/subcontractor contracts
* Carry out site visits to assess progress and verify works
* Work closely with project managers, clients, and contractors
* Identify cost risks and support project decision-making
* Maintain accurate financial records and forecasts
Requirements-
* Minimum HND in Quantity Surveying
* At least 2 years experience with a main contractor or subcontractor
* Strong knowledge of construction cost management
* Experience with CostX, Bluebeam, or similar software preferred
* Full UK driving licence required
* Joinery or shopfitting experience beneficial but not essential
* RICS accreditation advantageous but not essential
