Offer description

What skills and experience we're looking for

As the Administration Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing pupil attendance and co-ordinating admissions for the school. You will be the first point of contact (face to face, online, or via the telephone) for pupils, parents, and visitors to the school, and therefore must have excellent communication skills and be confident in speaking to a diverse range of people. You will also be responsible for managing the shared email inboxes, so your written communication skills must also be first-rate. You will be proactive and able to cope in a busy, pressure-filled environment.

Sensitivity and discretion are essential in this role.

The ideal candidate will have office experience, ideally in a school setting. Knowledge of Bromcom or another school MIS system will be a significant advantage. We are a values-based school, and all staff are expected to share our commitment to these values. A good sense of humour is a must!
