Every child who comes to Maltby Lilly Hall is unique. They come to school with their own combination of experiences, understanding and learning which it is our job, and privilege, to build upon. We believe that every child has the right to make the most of their abilities and fulfil their potential.

We encourage children to have the confidence to explore and experiment as they work to develop their talents and achieve their full potential through a well-balanced, broad and creative curriculum tailored to the needs of every child. To this end, we have worked hard to develop opportunities for our children to experience learning through first-hand experience as well as using teaching strategies which encourage questioning, curiosity and a sense of ownership.

Our weekly varied Enrichment clubs provide chances for children to experience new challenges or hone their skills in ones they already know.

"One pupil, whose comment was typical of others, told an inspector, 'It's good at this school. We all get along well together, we are all treated equally, and we get lots of opportunities." (OFSTED inspection, 2021)

All children will make progress at Maltby Lilly Hall Academy. We analyse children's strengths and weaknesses on a daily basis and our teaching and planning evolve to ensure children of all abilities are set to not only progress academically but enabling them with all the skills necessary to succeed in the wider world.
