Role Overview
Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Clinical Research Nurse to support the delivery of clinical trials from study start‑up through to close‑out. This role is ideal for a confident nurse with excellent communication skills who enjoys building rapport with patients and working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. You will be instrumental in ensuring protocol compliance, accurate data collection and a positive patient experience throughout the study lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee clinical trial nursing activities from initiation to close‑out in accordance with ICH/GCP guidelines.
* Attend Site Initiation Visits (SIVs) and remain updated on any protocol amendments.
* Conduct PIV patient interest visits, providing clear and knowledgeable study information.
* Support strong patient engagement and retention throughout each trial.
* Collect, verify and accurately record study data in source notes and CRF/eCRF systems.
* Foster a safe, professional and welcoming environment for both staff and study participants.
Skills & Experience
* NMC Registered Nurse with unrestricted practice.
* Minimum of 2 years post‑registration experience.
* Previous clinical research experience (desirable but not essential).
* Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team with minimal supervision.
* Strong patient‑focused approach and excellent communication skills.
* Highly organised, self‑motivated and compliant with GDPR and regulatory standards.
