Specialising in high-quality fabricated and sheet metal solutions, the company supports a diverse customer base across a variety of engineering and manufacturing sectors.
This Workshop Manager role would suit someone with a strong background in sheet metal fabrication who is confident leading teams, managing production flow, and maintaining high standards across a fast-paced workshop environment.
Responsibilities
* Oversee the day‑to‑day running of the sheet metal and fabrication workshop
* Manage fabrication staff and coordinate workloads to meet production deadlines
* Ensure manufacturing processes are completed efficiently and to required quality standards
* Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
* Drive health & safety compliance and continuous improvement throughout the workshop
Qualifications
* Previous experience managing teams within a sheet metal or fabrication environment
* Strong understanding of fabrication processes including welding, forming, and assembly
* Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
* Excellent organisational, leadership, and problem‑solving skills
* Hands‑on approach with the ability to prioritise multiple projects effectively
