Responsibilities
* Stitch and assemble cushion covers to specification
* Work with supplied patterns and materials
* Support iterative prototyping (adjusting designs based on feedback)
* Maintain quality and consistency across small production runs

Experience and exposure
* Experience contributing to a live clinical research project
* Exposure to industry collaboration between academia and a commercial brand
* Portfolio-worthy experience in functional/medical product design
* Insight into how fashion skills translate into real-world innovation
Requirements
* Current student in Fashion Design, Textiles, or a related course at MMU
* Confident using sewing machines and garment construction techniques
* Good attention to detail and neat finishing
* Able to follow technical instructions and patterns accurately
* Interest in functional design, ergonomics, or product development is a plus
