*Job Overview:*We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heating & Plumbing Engineer to join our team at Tremorfa Ltd. The role involves the installation, servicing, and maintenance of gas and plumbing systems across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. The successful candidate will have proven hands-on experience, a solid understanding of UK regulations, and a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and quality workmanship.*Key Responsibilities**Maintenance & Servicing*· Undertake planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on commercial gas-fired boilers, heating systems, and associated plant· Carry out fault diagnosis, repairs, and testing to ensure safe and efficient system operation.· Perform tightness testing and purging in accordance with IGEM/UP/1 and UP/1A standards.· Inspect, test, and maintain gas distribution pipework, burners, valves, and controls.*Reactive & Emergency Response*· Respond promptly to reactive maintenance and breakdown calls in line with contractual SLAs.· Identify root causes of faults and implement effective, safe repairs.· Record all findings, works completed, and any further remedial recommendations.Compliance & Documentation· Complete all required service records, job sheets, and compliance reports accurately and on time.· Ensure all work complies with Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations, HSE, and company procedures.*Client & Team Liaison*· Communicate effectively with clients, site representatives, and contract managers.· Provide professional advice and support on system performance and upgrade options.· Work collaboratively with other engineers and subcontractors on multi-discipline contracts.*Qualifications & Experience**Essential:*· Commercial Gas ACS qualifications, e.g.:· COCN1 / CCN1· CODNCO1· CDGA1, CIGA1, CORT1, ICPN1, TPCP1A (or equivalents)· Proven experience in commercial gas servicing and maintenance within commercial or industrial environments.· Health & Safety training (CSCS).· Full UK driving licence.*Desirable:*· LPG, Catering, or COMCAT modules.· F-Gas· Health & Safety training ( PASMA, IPAF).*Skills:*· Excellent technical knowledge of gas systems and safety standards.· Strong problem-solving and diagnostic ability.· High standards of workmanship and attention to detail.· Good communication and customer service skills.· Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently.· Commitment to safe working practices and compliance.*Salary*: Competitive, based on experience*Benefits*: Company vehicle, fuel card, overtime and on-call pay, travel allowance, Pension Scheme, training and professional development opportunities, PPE provided, Free Membership to Health club, Employee Assistance Program (EAP)Job Type: Full-timePay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per yearWork Location: In person
