We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. Duties
* Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated locations.
* Load and unload items, ensuring proper handling and care during transit.
* Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability.
* Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation.
* Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times and any potential issues.
* Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.
* Assist in warehouse duties as needed, including heavy lifting and organisation of stock.
Qualifications
* Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred.
* Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record; experience driving a commercial vehicle is advantageous.
* Familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus.
* Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for loading and unloading goods.
* Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and colleagues.
