The Governing Body are seeking to appoint a motivated & inspirational class teacher who will continue to build on the existing excellent standards at Meadowbank Special School. These posts are due to the expanding school roll.

Meadowbank is a growing, friendly special school for pupils aged 4-11 supporting pupils with a wide range of complex learning needs including autism, global delay, general learning difficulties, physical / medical needs and developmental language disorder. This role is an exciting opportunity to be part of a happy and forward-thinking school with a focus on a total communication approach.

The successful candidate will have:

•the ability to inspire and work with the whole school team to continue to raise standards within our growing school;

•the ability to lead and contribute to the school’s ethos of ‘belong, Inspire & flourish’ for every child;

•the capacity to listen and communicate effectively with all partners, further developing our close relationships with parents, carers and the community.

•have a passion to support complex pupils working within a Foundation Phase ethos supporting child development milestones and life skills
