About the role
Your focus as a Care Assistant will be to deliver high standards of personal care, contributing fully to the care team to ensure continuity of services to residents.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist residents with all personal hygiene care, ensuring optimum independence, dignity and respect.
* Recognise and understand clinical risk areas such as weight loss, pressure sores, risk of falls and signs of infections, and promptly raise any identified risks.
* Act courteously towards residents and visitors, respecting each resident’s dignity and individuality.
* Practice safe systems of work across the range of tasks.
About you
To be successful you will live our values of caring, supportive, honest, respectful and accountable in all that you do. Experience is not required as we provide a thorough induction and training programme.
Ideal candidates will:
* Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
* Demonstrate initiative and respect residents and others.
* Be an efficient worker who can follow reasonable instructions from team members.
* Be adaptable and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities on short notice.
