An established and growing import business is seeking a Junior Account Manager to join its team in Worksop. The company imports goods from across the globe and supplies UK-based businesses across a range of sectors. This is a junior-level position, ideal for an individual looking to develop a long-term career in B2B sales and account management. The Role The successful candidate will work closely with a Senior Account Manager and receive full training on the industry, products, and internal processes. The role will develop over time as knowledge and confidence increase. Key responsibilities include: Supporting the management of existing B2B customer accounts Developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers and suppliers Assisting with sales enquiries and account administration Gaining a strong understanding of the import process and product portfolio Attending supplier meetings, customer visits, and industry-related events across the UK once trained The Candidate Some prior sales experience or knowledge of account management is required Strong communication and relationship-building skills Ambitious, proactive, and keen to build a career in sales Well organised with good attention to detail Comfortable working in an office-based role Training & Progression Full training provided on the industry and role Ongoing support and mentoring from a Senior Account Manager Opportunity to progress into an Account Manager position after 12 months This role offers a starting salary of £30,000, standard office hours of 9am5pm, and access to a pool car for business use when required.
