Job Title: Deputy Homes Manger
Contract Type: Full time, permanent
Location: Bishop's Stortford
Salary: £39,680 - £40,720 - OTE £47,280 - £48,320 (Including sleeps)

Personal Specification
You will be:
* Naturally caring, patient and emotionally intelligent
* Calm and grounded, even under pressure, with the ability to set clear, consistent boundaries
* A supportive team player who leads with empathy and kindness
Requirements
* This role requires a Level 3 QCF qualification and several years experience working as a senior within a children's residential setting.
* Attend all trainings which are booked in for you - these are all of value and should be privileged.
* Access to Level 5 through our internal promotions programme.
* DSL- Level 3 safeguard training for designated leads.
What You'll Do:
* To support the Registered Homes Manager in ensuring compliance with the company Policy and Procedures and meeting all OFSTED regulations.
* To deputise/act up for the Registered Manager in their absence
* To work with the manager and team towards the most positive outcomes for the young person.
* To plan, manage and lead shifts ensuring children are kept safe and engaged throughout the day.
* To ensure the Placement and Care plan for each child is followed and adhered to at all times.
