Position
We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to support the successful delivery of a major engineering and infrastructure project. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives on managing complex programmes, driving performance and leading teams to deliver projects that make a tangible impact on communities and the built environment.
Responsibilities
* Define and manage the project scope, ensuring alignment with wider programme objectives and coordination across all delivery teams.
* Develop and implement clear project execution strategies that set out how work will be organised, managed and delivered.
* Secure and lead the required resources, maintaining high levels of technical capability and performance within the team.
* Maintain strong communication with clients, stakeholders and partners, ensuring transparency and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
* Deliver projects safely, on schedule, within budget and in full compliance with business, quality and technical requirements.
* Monitor progress and performance, managing risks, schedules and budgets while proactively addressing challenges as they arise.
* Lead project reviews and ensure lessons learned, continuous improvement and best practices are embedded in future work.
* Oversee contractors and suppliers, ensuring contractual requirements and deliverables are achieved to the highest standard.
Preferred Profile
* Degree-qualified in engineering, construction management or a related discipline. Chartered or professional status is desirable.
* Familiarity with structured project management methodologies and best practice frameworks.
* Good knowledge of CDM Regulations.
* Proven experience managing large scale projects within the engineering and infrastructure sectors such as transport, utilities or energy.
* Strong track record of leading multidisciplinary teams and coordinating design, procurement and construction activities.
* Excellent understanding of project controls including cost, schedule, risk and change management.
* Skilled communicator with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
* Experience managing external contractors and consultants within complex programmes.
Visa Sponsorship
Please note that visa sponsorship is not guaranteed and is assessed on a case by case basis, depending on role criticality and project needs. Many of our UK projects require high level security clearance, meaning we can often only consider candidates with an existing indefinite right to work in the UK. Exceptionally we may consider visa sponsorship for applicants with niche experience aligned to our core work (e.g. EPR/nuclear new build).

We offer a competitive salary tailored to your experience and background. Whether you are earlier in your career or bring more senior level expertise we encourage you to apply if this role aligns with your skills or if you are open to discussing other opportunities within this discipline.
