Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Duty Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure exceptional guest experiences within our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong F&B background, leadership skills, a background in hospitality, and the ability to manage staff effectively. As a Duty Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of service while fostering a positive environment for both guests and employees. We share Gratuities equally amongst the whole team. The owner does Not share in any gratuities. 5 days from 7 including weekends.

Duties

* Supervise daily operations to ensure smooth functioning of the hotel or establishment.
* Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to enhance guest satisfaction.
* Lead and motivate staff, providing guidance and support to maintain high service standards.
* Collaborate with various departments, including housekeeping, front desk, and food services, to ensure seamless operations.
* Conduct regular inspections of facilities to ensure cleanliness and adherence to health and safety regulations.
* Assist in training new staff members on company policies and procedures.
* Manage scheduling and staffing needs to optimise service delivery during peak times.
* Maintain accurate records of incidents, complaints, and operational issues for review.

Skills

* Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry is essential.
* Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
* Excellent guest service skills with a focus on creating memorable experiences for guests.
* Knowledge of human resources practices related to staff management and development.
* Familiarity with hotel operations, including front desk management and housekeeping procedures.
* Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
