Refrigeration Engineer
Location: Covering West Yorkshire and across to the East Coast
Duration: Permanent
Salary: From £37,000 to £39,500 plus door to door travel
Overview
We are looking for an experienced Refrigeration Engineer for a full‑time, permanent position covering Yorkshire. This role will cover sites that include petrol stations, schools, hospitals, public houses and restaurants, and will involve the service, maintenance and breakdown of ice machines, display cabinets and cold rooms. The right candidate will already have a strong refrigeration background and be able to handle planned and reactive maintenance. As this is a mobile position, a full UK driving licence and FGAS certification are required. Having a petrol station certificate would be an advantage but is not essential.
Requirements
* Strong working background in refrigeration service, maintenance and breakdown.
* Experience with plant from ice machines to cold rooms.
* Happy to travel throughout the Yorkshire area.
* FGAS 2079 certification.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Based in the Leeds / Bradford area.
* Some air conditioning experience would be an advantage but not essential.
* Level 2 in refrigeration would be a bonus.
Package
* Basic salary based on a 40‑hour week.
* Company van.
* Door‑to‑door travel.
* On‑call one week in six, with on‑call allowance.
* Overtime available.
