To provide an efficient administration/secretarial service to Clinicians within the Diabetes & Endocrine Team and to support colleagues during absence, including cover for the Diabetes and Endocrine reception desk during absence/leave and/or busy times.

Qualifications

Essential criteria

1. •GCSE in English and Maths or equivalent
2. •Vocational level 3 in relevant field or equivalent experience

4. •Medical terminology

Experience

Essential criteria

5. •Experience as working as a Medical Secretary/Administrator

Desirable criteria

6. •NHS Administration Experience

Technical Skills Competencies

7. •Computer literate with word processing experience including Microsoft Office Software

Desirable criteria

8. •Audio typing

Knowledge

Essential criteria

9. •Understanding of secretarial procedures
10. •Understanding of Microsoft Word
